Job Title: Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Estimator
Location: Rayleigh, Essex
Rate: From £350 per day (depending on experience)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Estimator to join our client on a contract basis in Rayleigh, Essex. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in building services who can accurately price projects and contribute to successful tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical and electrical projects across commercial and/or residential sectors
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients

Requirements

• Proven experience as an M&E Estimator within the construction or building services industry
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and installations
