The Role As Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating technical design packages and ensuring accurate, buildable and compliant information is available throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with the Commercial, Construction and Sales teams, as well as external consultants and statutory bodies, to keep design programmes on track and resolve technical issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities Coordinate technical design packages and monitor progress against the design programme Chair and manage design team meetings, ensuring actions are clearly recorded and progressed Liaise with Commercial, Construction, Sales and other internal departments Review drawings for buildability, planning compliance and construction readiness Manage statutory approvals and the discharge of planning conditions Support consultant appointments and ensure relevant procedures are followed Review and coordinate subcontractor design information Respond to sales and customer technical queries accurately and efficiently Support value engineering and product optimisation initiatives Assist with technical handover documentation Ensure design information meets relevant CDM, risk assessment and Golden Thread requirements Contribute to continuous improvement across the technical function About You The successful candidate will ideally have: A relevant qualification or be working towards one, such as a Degree, HNC/HND or NVQ Level 5 Previous experience coordinating design teams, consultants or technical packages Experience within residential construction/development A good understanding of buildability, planning and technical compliance Awareness of CDM and Principal Designer responsibilities Understanding of Golden Thread principles and BIM Level 2 standards Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach A strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction Why Apply? Working on a range of water and wastewater projects throughout the South of England, this role offers the opportunity to be involved in the delivery of essential infrastructure schemes, including treatment works upgrades, pipelines, reservoirs, pumping stations and other complex civil engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Sub Agent looking for a long-term contract assignment with a busy and well-established contractor operating across a major AMP programme.
