About this Role: Project Manager required to run a 5m new build timber framed residential project in Mortimer Common near Theale, Berkshire. This is a secured project with main works due to start in the spring for an 18 months programme. Reporting to the Construction Director and visiting Contracts Manager you will be responsible for managing the project through the end of the preconstruction phase, ready to start on site and throughout the construction phase. You take the lead holding responsibility for input to design development, construction methodology and programme of works, logistics, plus specifically the smooth and timely progress of construction on site, health and safety, quality control and any issue resolution. About the Company: The client is the busy Thames Valley based regional office of a national main contractor, with a turnover in excess of 25m and with secured workload in the residential, leisure, healthcare, education and retirement living sectors across the Thames Valley region Projects range in size from 5m to 15m, secured through a mixture of national and regional frameworks, negotiated schemes with repeat clients and competitive tenders.
