Location: Maidstone
Salary: circa 37-42,000

A design-focused architectural studio is looking to appoint an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its Maidstone team. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Architectural Technologist with substantial post-qualification experience, offering strong technical knowledge and a proactive, detail-driven approach to project delivery. Working closely alongside Architects, you will play an important role in the development and delivery of high-quality technical solutions across a variety of projects.

Role & Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive technical drawings and detailed construction packages
Contribute across various project stages, supporting both design development and delivery
Work collaboratively with architects, consultants, and the wider project team
Ensure all outputs meet current UK Building Regulations and relevant legislation
Assist in project coordination and resolve technical design challenges
Support project delivery with a practical, problem-solving mindset

Requirements

Chartered Architectural Technologist (CIAT accredited)
Extensive experience gained within a UK architectural practice
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Experience using Photoshop, SketchUp, or similar 3D and visualisation tools
Previous experience in a UK-based practice preferred
Solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations, British Standards, and statutory requirements
Proven technical capability with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage workload effectively and work flexibly
Interest in sustainable and environmentally responsive design
