Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor

Location: Leicester, East Midlands

Salary/Benefits: 26k - 40k + Training & Benefits

Due to recently winning new contracts, our client is seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to undertake thorough risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems. Our client is a well-known name within the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry, who provide a diverse range of services to their clients. Applicants must have a proven track record within the industry and robust industry technical knowledge. Locations of work include: Leicester, Hinckley, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden, Northampton, Daventry, Rugby, Coventry, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Royal Leamington Spa, Solihull, Tamworth, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Swadlincote, Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster, Stafford, Cannock, Stoke-on-Trent, Ilkeston.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Applicants must have experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
• Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
• It would be beneficial to have experience of working on cooling/evaporative water systems
• Excellent industry knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Proficient using IT software
• Able to travel in line with company needs

The Role:

• Carrying out detailed Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
• Producing site-specific reports to make appropriate recommendations for remedial works
• Generating detailed schematic drawings
• Advising clients on any found risks and answering any queries they might have
• Maintaining / building strong working relationships with clients
• Supporting the training of new members of the team
• Leading legionella training for clients
• Adhering to set deadlines and targets
