Our client, a well-established and reputable contractor, is seeking an experienced Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) & MVHR Engineer to join their growing team.
This role involves carrying out servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs across a varied portfolio of domestic and commercial properties, including social housing, private residential, and commercial sites.
This is a mobile position, working across occupied and void properties, as well as plant rooms and roof-mounted systems.
Key Responsibilities
Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
- Service, maintain, and fault-find on domestic and commercial ASHP systems
- Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and refrigerant-related faults
- Monitor and assess system performance, including flow rates and temperature differentials
- Work on associated components such as buffers, low loss headers, pump sets, and plate heat exchangers
- Provide detailed reports with findings and recommended remedial actions
MVHR & Ventilation Systems
- Service and inspect MVHR and ventilation systems
- Replace filters and complete routine maintenance tasks
- Inspect fans, controls, and condensate drainage systems
- Diagnose airflow and system performance issues
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
- F-Gas Category 1 certification
- G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification
- Recognised Heat Pump training
- Strong electrical fault-finding capability
- Proven experience with wet heating systems
- Full UK driving licence
