Role: Site Agent

Salary: 55,000 - 70,000 + Car/Allowance + Package

Location: Tamworth (and surrounding areas)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Reporting to: Project Manager

The Site Agent role

I'm looking for a Site Agent who are looking to work with a leading force in civil engineering and infrastructure. A massive developer of top talent who work on diverse and challenging infrastructure projects. Following a period of growth and several high-profile project wins, this contractor are looking to bolster their team with the addition of a Site Agent.

If you're from an engineering background currently and looking to make a step up, or you may be a Site Agent who's looking to challenge themselves working on diverse and complex water infrastructure projects then do apply!

The business are expanding their delivery of projects across the Midlands region and have an opening for a Site Agent to join their team. As a Site Agent you'll be working with the Project Delivery team working on varying projects but centred around road and highway development, structures and bridge development as well as heavy civils, drainage and earthmoving, locations of works varying around the Midlands region.

As a Site Agent you'll see projects from contract award through to completion - achieving acceptable financial outcomes whilst adhering to the quality, safety and environmental policies. You'll report to a Contracts Manager or Project Manager, depending on the value and complexity of project.

Roles and responsibilities of the Site Agent

Allocation of resource and management of Site staff.
Ensuring safe systems of work and the Company Safety Policy are practised.
Enforcement and monitoring of the Division's Quality Assurance and Environmental systems.
Management of projects/contracts.
Communication at all levels regarding progress of projects.
Line management/supervision for Sub Agents & General Foreman.
Indirectly supervise Site Engineer, Foreman and Gangers.

The right Site Agent will have

Civil Engineering/Construction management degree
Background in delivery of civil engineering projects either for a tier 1, main contractor or subcontractor delivering several subcontract packages
Possesses proven experience on challenging and diverse projects, water experience highly desirable.
Proven experience from engineering background demonstrating progress to Site Agent through career development with both theoretical and practical experience.
Site qualifications: CSCS card, SMSTS (5 day), First Aid at Work (4 day)
