CAD Technician

We are a growing specialist subcontractor working on high-profile commercial projects. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and creative CAD Technician to join our sociable, office-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing high-quality drawings, and wants clear, bespoke progression routes within a supportive and expanding organisation.

The Role

• Producing high-quality 2D CAD drawings for construction plans
• Carrying out detailed 2D analysis, polished line work and swept path (swept plans) analysis
• Creating clear, client-ready plans to support live projects
• Producing 3D models where possible to help visualise strategies for clients (desirable, not essential)
• Working closely with project teams to meet tight deadlines across multiple commercial projects

About You

• Minimum of 3 years experience producing 2D CAD drawings (essential)
• Experience within commercial construction projects
• Confident producing clean, accurate and well-presented drawings
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Creative, hardworking and detail-driven, with a professional and positive attitude
