Maintenance Technician

Are you a maintenance technician with good all round building services maintenance experience looking for an immediate start in a temporary role?

We have a new role for a maintenance technician to join one of the UK's leading Universities based in central London. This is a static role, 35 hours per week, paid weekly at an hourly rate of £19.65 PAYE (23.30 Umbrella rate).

Within this maintenance role you will be based at the Universities halls of residence and be responsible for all round maintenance including:

• Basic plumbing
• Unblocking sinks and toilets
• Fabric maintenance
• Repairing doors and windows
• General upkeep of the University halls
• PPMs and reactive minor repairs

For this temporary maintenance role we are looking for:

• A solid work history of commercial building services maintenance ideally from student accommodation or a hotel background
• Experience of basic plumbing
• Experience of fabric or carpentry work
• A clear DBS
• A great attitude to work backed up by good references
