Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor Central London 120,000- 130,000 + Comprehensive Package Tier 1 MEP Contractor The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Tier 1 MEP contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering major, technically complex building services projects across London and the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their London commercial team. The business delivers major MEP packages across a diverse range of sectors including commercial offices, healthcare, education and data centres, providing the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most technically challenging schemes in the market. The Role As Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for major mechanical and electrical packages, working closely with the project delivery team from pre-construction through to final account. You will be responsible for protecting the commercial position of the project, managing subcontractors and procurement, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring strong financial performance throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Take commercial responsibility for major M&E packages Manage projects from pre-construction and procurement through to final account Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts and cost reports Produce and present monthly CVRs Manage subcontractor procurement, tender analysis and package negotiation Administer subcontract accounts from appointment through to final account Manage valuations, variations and change control Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project Work closely with Project Managers, Contracts Managers and operational teams Manage cash flow and ensure accurate financial forecasting Review contractual obligations and ensure commercial compliance Negotiate subcontractor and client final accounts Attend commercial, client and project progress meetings Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners Support and mentor junior members of the commercial team where required About You We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in M&E or Building Services. You will need to be comfortable commercially managing substantial MEP packages and operating within the structured commercial environment of a major contractor.
