Site Engineer

FREELANCE SITE ENGINEER
DAILY RATE BASED ON EXPERIENCE

We are currently looking for an experienced site engineer to work on major build project on the outskirts of Brighton. The role is working with an established regional civil engineering contractor delivering a key part of the project and will be joining an established and professional team

The key duties for the role include but are not limited to:

• Setting out
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting design documents
• Liaising with the site team, consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
• Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Quality control and health and safety matters on site
• Preparing reports as required;
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
