Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a water infrastructure scheme in Lincoln. This is a key role working with an established civil engineering contractor delivering works within a regulated water environment.

Site Manager Role & Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day site operations on a water scheme

  • Supervising subcontractors, direct labour, and plant on site

  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification

  • Coordinating civil engineering activities including drainage, pipework, and concrete works

  • Leading health & safety on site, including toolbox talks and inductions

  • Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Agents, and Engineers

  • Monitoring progress and reporting against programme targets

  • Managing site documentation, permits, and quality records

  • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and client standards

Site Manager Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on water or wastewater schemes

  • Strong civil engineering background within the utilities sector

  • Experience managing multiple work fronts

  • SMSTS qualification

  • Valid CSCS card

  • First Aid at Work (preferred)

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
