We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a water infrastructure scheme in Lincoln. This is a key role working with an established civil engineering contractor delivering works within a regulated water environment.
Site Manager Role & Responsibilities:
Managing day-to-day site operations on a water scheme
Supervising subcontractors, direct labour, and plant on site
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
Coordinating civil engineering activities including drainage, pipework, and concrete works
Leading health & safety on site, including toolbox talks and inductions
Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Agents, and Engineers
Monitoring progress and reporting against programme targets
Managing site documentation, permits, and quality records
Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and client standards
Site Manager Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager on water or wastewater schemes
Strong civil engineering background within the utilities sector
Experience managing multiple work fronts
SMSTS qualification
Valid CSCS card
First Aid at Work (preferred)
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
