Salary: 44-48,000

A well-established architectural practice in Chelmsford is looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technician to support the delivery of large-scale residential and mixed-use schemes. This is a senior-level role within a growing technical team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of projects from post-planning through to construction while working closely with developers, consultants and internal design teams.

Key Responsibilities
Production of detailed technical and construction drawing packages
Coordination with consultants and external stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and planning requirements
Technical delivery of projects across RIBA stages 4-6
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Liaising directly with clients and project teams

Requirements
Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology or similar
Significant experience within a UK architectural practice
Strong background in residential projects, ideally developer-led schemes
Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Strong technical detailing and problem-solving skills
Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
