Reactive Maintenance & Diagnostics Engineer
£45,000 £60,000 PAYE Company Van No Rushed Installs
Aren Heating & Plumbing is looking for an experienced Heating Engineer / Plumber to join our London-based team.
This is a maintenance-focused role in occupied residential properties. We are not a volume installation company jobs are scheduled properly and carried out to a high standard.
We are looking for someone with strong diagnostic ability who can assess systems logically and resolve faults without guesswork.
Minimum Experience Requirement (Important)
Minimum 5 years experience in domestic plumbing & heating maintenance
Strong diagnostic experience in occupied properties

The Role
Working independently across London, carrying out reactive and planned maintenance in homes and tenanted properties.
Typical work includes:
Plumbing fault finding (taps, toilets, showers, leaks)
Pipework alterations and remedial works
Drainage and waste blockages
Boiler servicing, diagnostics and repairs
Pumps, valves, cylinders and heating controls
System pressure, flow and water quality issues
Underfloor heating diagnostics
Light installation work may be required, but this is primarily a maintenance and fault-finding role.

Requirements
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing / Heating
ACS domestic gas qualifications
Minimum 5 years maintenance experience
Full UK driving licence
Own hand tools
Willing to undergo DBS check
