Danny Sullivan Group are currently recruiting for an experienced SSSTS Groundworks Ganger to work on a long-term construction project based at RAF Brize Norton, Carterton.

This is a secure site, therefore all candidates must be able to provide a minimum of 3 years continuous employment history to meet site access requirements.

The Role as a SSSTS Groundworks Ganger:

• Supervising and coordinating a team of groundworkers on site
• Allocating daily tasks and ensuring work is completed to programme
• Overseeing general groundworks including drainage, kerbing, ducting, and excavation
• Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with Health & Safety regulations
• Conducting site briefings and toolbox talks
• Liaising with site management, engineers, and other trades
• Monitoring quality of work and ensuring it meets project specifications
• Identifying and reporting any hazards, delays, or issues on site
• Assisting hands-on with groundworks when required

Requirements as a SSSTS Groundworks Ganger:

• Valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
• CSCS Card (essential)
• First Aid (preferred not essential)
• Proven experience as a Groundworks Ganger or Supervisor
• Minimum 3 years employment history required (essential for RAF base access)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Solid understanding of groundworks and site Health & Safety
• Reliable, organised, and able to lead a team effectively
