We are currently looking for an experienced Property Maintenance Operative to join a busy and growing team covering Yorkshire and surrounding areas. This is a mobile role suited to someone practical, reliable, and confident carrying out a range of maintenance tasks across multiple properties.
The Role
As a Property Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for completing general repairs and maintenance work to ensure properties remain safe, functional, and well maintained. The role involves travelling between sites throughout Yorkshire, so flexibility and the ability to work independently are key.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general property repairs including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic electrical work
Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance requirements
Respond quickly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently
Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard
Liaise with contractors and suppliers when specialist work is required
Travel between properties across Yorkshire and surrounding areas
Requirements
Previous experience in property maintenance, handyman work, or a similar role
Strong knowledge of general repairs including basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Good communication and organisational skills
Valid CSCS Card (essential)
Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across Yorkshire
