We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK infrastructure contractor delivering major electricity transmission and substation projects across the UK.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support high-value transmission schemes based on a key site in Rotherham.

The Role

• Lead commercial activities across a portfolio of transmission projects
• Manage and mentor MQS/QS/AQS team members
• Oversee subcontractor management and client relationships
• Produce cost reports, forecasts, and financial analysis
• Manage variations, claims, and risk
• Drive profitability and commercial best practice

Requirements

• Proven Commercial Manager experience within major infrastructure or energy projects
• Strong subcontract package management experience (multi-million-pound values)
• Good understanding of contract law and cost control
• Strong negotiation and financial reporting skills
• Full UK driving licence (travel required)
• Transmission (OHL/Substation) experience desirable but not essential.
