Are you looking to kick start your career as an Electrician

Location: The head office based in Hillington. There will be a requirement to travel to various site locations
Salary: £18,900 per annum Earn while you learn!
Contract: Full time, Permanent.
Hours: 37.5 Hours (8am - 4pm)

The role of Apprentice Electrician will work under the qualified Electrician.

You will work across various departments including Internal Mains, Substations, Power systems & Jointing. Learning on the job and attending college.

Through college study and work experience you will gain a Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.

About the Role and what you will be doing:

You will learn the following skills:

No two days are the same. You ll be working across Internal Mains, Substations, and Power Systems, learning how to:

  • Install & Build: Set up cable systems, trunking, and high-tech distribution boards.
  • Problem Solve: Master fault-finding and electrical testing.
  • Go Digital: Use tablets to sign off jobs, log photos, and track your progress.
  • Specialise: Work on emergency lighting, heating circuits, and essential power systems.
  • Stay Safe: Learn the gold standard of safety rules within the SP Energy network.
