Maintenance Technician

Join the team at our 462?bed student property and help us keep The Tannery running smoothly.

We re looking for a hands?on, solutions?focused Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Tannery. You ll work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm on a rota basis.

Are you someone who enjoys fixing things and solving problems? In this role, you ll be responsible for maintaining the building to a high standard and ensuring it remains a safe, welcoming environment for our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out minor reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance
• Ensuring the building meets all statutory compliance requirements
• Managing large commercial waste bins located outside the property
• Handling routine fixes and tackling unexpected maintenance issues
• Supporting the wider team by ensuring the building is running efficiently and safely

You ll be the go?to person for all things maintenance and play a key part in giving our residents a great place to live.

We re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in building maintenance or a similar trade
• Practical, resourceful, and confident solving everyday issues
• Positive, hardworking, and able to stay upbeat when challenges arise
• Able to work independently while being a supportive team player
