Location: Lancashire

Salary: 34-40,000 DOE

About the company:

An established and design-led architectural practice is seeking a confident, creative Architect to join its team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be a design-driven individual with a strong portfolio, capable of clearly articulating design ideas and contributing positively within a collaborative studio environment. New starters will initially be required to work full-time from the office while getting to know colleagues and internal systems. Following a successful settling-in period, hybrid working will be available with a minimum of three days per week in the office, although full-time office-based working is also welcomed. Due to the semi-rural location, this role may not be suitable for candidates without access to a car.

Daily duties will include:

  • Developing innovative and well-considered design proposals across all project stages
  • Producing high-quality drawings, visualisations, and technical documentation
  • Working closely with colleagues, consultants, and clients to deliver projects successfully
  • Participating in design reviews, meetings, and presentations
  • Assisting in the coordination of projects from concept through to completion
  • Ensuring designs meet relevant regulations, budgets, and deadlines

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ARB registered
  • Revit capabilities
  • A strong design-led portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical ability
  • Confidence in presenting and communicating design ideas clearly
  • Experience within an architectural practice environment
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to design and problem-solving
