Skilled Operative

Danny Sullivan Group are currently seeking a reliable and experienced CSCS Skilled Operative to join a busy construction project in Carterton, Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading contractor on a well-established site.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site operations and ensuring groundwork and general construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities working as a Skilled Operative

• Carrying out a range of skilled operative site duties to support construction activities
• Assisting with groundworks, drainage, and general site preparation
• Operating hand tools safely and effectively
• Supporting trades on site
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised
• Following all Health & Safety regulations and site procedures
• Working closely with supervisors and site teams to meet project deadlines
• Assisting with movement and preparation of materials across the site

Requirements as a Skilled Operative

• Valid CSCS Card (essential)
• Previous experience working as a Skilled Operative or Groundworker on construction sites
• Good understanding of site Health & Safety procedures
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and reliability
