Our client is looking for a reliable and hard working Pit Lane Supervisor. If you have the right qualifications please get in touch with us today. Key points for this role: * Manage all deliveries and persons entering the off load area * Be responsible for the ovarall delivery area and all gateman / traffic marshals will report to this person * Manage the lifting schedule (for example if items not on the lifting schedule crane will not lift or FLT etc.) * Check all delivery vehicles are compliant with SG standards before entering our site * Ensure all drivers sign in and checked they have correct PPE * Confirm to relevant contractor when vehicles can be off loaded Qualifications - must have * Appointed person lift supervisor * Slinger signaller * SMSTS * Traffic marshal / Banksman Experience * Must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of managing construction delivery areas ( minimum 5 years’ experience ) * Preferable to have worked on large busy sites with tier 1 main contractors with high safety standards . Good to have * IPAF * PASMA * Military background – this is quite important as must have authority and confidence in this role, be hard hitting
