Assistant Construction Planner

As an Assistant Construction Planner, you will support senior planners and project teams in developing, maintaining, and monitoring construction programmes throughout all project stages. • Assist in the preparation and development of detailed construction programmes using industry planning software

• Support programme updates, progress tracking, and reporting

• Work closely with site teams to gather progress information and identify risks to programme delivery

• Contribute to short-term and long-term planning strategies

• Assist with delay analysis and programme impact assessments

• Participate in project meetings and planning workshops

• Help develop logistics sequencing and construction methodologies

• Ensure programmes align with project milestones and contractual requirements

• Experience within a main contractor or construction environment

• Exposure to high-rise residential or high-rise student accommodation projects preferred

• Understanding of construction sequencing and project lifecycles

• Familiarity with planning software such as Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6 (desirable)

• Strong analytical and organisational skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Relevant construction qualification (Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent) preferred
