QSHE Advisor - Static Site British Museum
A leading engineering and technical services provider is seeking a QSHE Advisor to support the delivery of a major infrastructure and decarbonisation programme at the British Museum.
Working on a predominantly static site, you will support the pre-construction and early delivery phases of works focused on modernising the estate's energy infrastructure, including the development of a new low-carbon energy centre and associated M&E upgrades across the site.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the safe delivery of engineering works within one of the world's most iconic heritage environments, working closely with project teams, contractors and client stakeholders to embed a strong QSHE culture.
Key Responsibilities
Provide QSHE support across construction and engineering activities
Review RAMS and construction phase documentation
Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance checks
Support incident reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
Promote safe behaviours across project teams and supply chain partners
Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation and CDM Regulations
Essential
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
IOSH Managing Safely (or higher)
QSHE experience within construction, engineering or energy environments
Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and CDM
Temporary Works awareness
Desirable
NEBOSH Construction or Diploma (or working towards)
ISO auditing experience (9001 / 14001 / 45001)
Environmental qualification (e.g. IEMA)
