About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical works on a residential construction project. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for supervising site electricians, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining high safety standards while keeping the project on programme.

Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical works across the residential site

• Manage and support electricians and subcontractors on site

• Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specs, and regulations

• Monitor quality, productivity, and site progress

• Enforce health & safety procedures and toolbox talks

• Liaise with site management, other trades, and suppliers

• Identify and resolve site issues efficiently

• Ensure testing, commissioning, and documentation are completed correctly

Electrical Supervisor Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Senior Electrician

• Strong background in residential projects

• Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)

• SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)

• ECS / JIB Gold Card (or equivalent)

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

• Good understanding of current electrical regulations
