The Role: Supply Manager

Search is working with a well-established and highly reputable construction company who due to growth is looking for an experienced Supply Manager to join their team on a permanent basis

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage the current supply chain, keeping it up to date, relevant and fit for purpose, expanding it where necessary to include new subcontractors and suppliers for specific projects or requirements.
Build strong relationships with internal and external customers

Responsibilities

Define, develop and manage a consistent supplier relationship management strategy
Ensuring strategic procurement around sustainability
Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
Improve end-to-end performance and delivery
Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
Manage the current supply chain, keeping it up to date, relevant and fit for purpose, expanding it where necessary to include new subcontractors and suppliers for specific projects or requirements.
Drive continuous improvement strategies.
Strategically allocate suppliers and contractors to key projects.
Utilise and cultivate internal relationships with all stakeholders.
Review data and implement an improvement plan
Define and maintain supplier performance
Implement Key Performance Indicators
