Role: Site Engineer
Salary: 325 - 350 per day
Location: Oxford

The Site Engineer Role
PSR are working with a main contractor are a force in the region, they have a long-term pipeline of civil engineering projects and as such they have a rare opening for a freelance Site Engineer to join their team. The right Site Engineer will join a long-standing team with extremely experienced individuals who will be there to assist you in delivering critical infrastructure in Oxfordshire. This presents itself as an excellent opportunity for a solid Site Engineer to work with a leading main contractor who give them full support on a rewarding and diverse framework for Thames Water.
Brief on the Site Engineer role
No two days are the same as a Site Engineer, you'll have site experience from a civil engineering discipline and be confident in setting out of works and supporting paperwork and quality checks. You may have worked for a main contractor previously or from a subcontractor, if you've worked on projects incorporating water infrastructure such as pipelines, tank installation, rising main, pump stations etc this would be advantageous.
The right Site Engineer will have
- Experience as a Site Engineer previously
- Experience working on civil engineering projects or have an appreciation for civil engineering works
- Relevant academic qualifications
- Relevant CSCS card
- Experience in ordering materials
- Setting out experience
- Ability to complete quality documentation
- Experience managing contractors and subcontractor staff
