Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer with proven experience in both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems that meet client specifications, regulatory standards, and project timelines.

Electrical Design Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for residential and commercial buildings

• Prepare electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and panel schedules

• Develop lighting designs, power distribution systems, and low-voltage systems

• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and project managers

• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations

• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction

• Review and approve shop drawings and technical submittals

• Assist in project cost estimation and material selection

Electrical Design Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• 5 years of experience in electrical design for residential and commercial projects

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software

• Strong understanding of NEC/local electrical codes and standards

• Experience with load calculations, lighting design, and power distribution

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
