Falcon Green is partnering with a leading subcontractor specialising in the delivery of mechanical building services they design, supply, and install on construction projects (typically residential or commercial developments).

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, they are now seeking a Junior Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team on new projects across London.

Junior Assistant Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

  • Assist the commercial team with cost management and financial reporting across CSA packages.
  • Support the preparation of valuations, variations, and interim payment applications.
  • Assist with the procurement of subcontractors, including preparing enquiries and reviewing quotations.
  • Help track project costs and budgets, ensuring accurate cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the management of subcontractor accounts, including reviewing progress and assisting with payments.
  • Assist with measurement and take-offs from drawings and project documentation.
  • Maintain accurate commercial records, cost reports, and project documentation.
  • Work closely with site teams to ensure commercial awareness and cost control on all aspects of the project.
  • Support senior Quantity Surveyors with final account preparation and project close-out.

Junior Assistant Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

  • A relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Some previous experience or placement within a Quantity Surveying or commercial role is desirable.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop within the commercial function.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other standard office software.
