Falcon Green is currently working with a well-established mechanical building services subcontractor that specialises in the design, supply, and installation of mechanical systems across a range of construction projects, including large residential and commercial developments.
As a result of continued expansion and a strong order book of upcoming work, they are now looking to recruit a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their commercial team and support the delivery of multiple projects across London.

Junior Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers in the coordination and supervision of mechanical installations on site.
- Support the review of mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Work closely with subcontractors to ensure mechanical works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
- Assist in the planning and monitoring of mechanical installation activities in line with the construction programme.
- Support the preparation and management of method statements, risk assessments, and technical documentation.
- Help coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
- Attend and contribute to site meetings and coordination meetings with other disciplines.
- Assist with snagging, inspections, and quality checks during the installation process.
Junior Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
- A relevant degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Some previous site experience or internship within construction, MEP, or engineering projects is beneficial.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical building services systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to work within a project team.
- A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced project environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with familiarity in engineering software or BIM tools considered an advantage.
