Job Description
Job Role: Traffic Marshal/Banksman
Duration: Long Term
Postcode: EX7, Dawlish .
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Navigation: Guiding cars, trucks, cranes, and heavy machinery safely in and out of the site.
- Pedestrian Safety: Creating safe pathways and ensuring people don't cross busy routes unexpectedly.
- Congestion Management: Preventing traffic jams and ensuring efficient movement.
- Site Security: Monitoring visitors, maintaining logbooks, checking for correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and controlling access.
- Communication: Using clear hand signals (banksman signals) and radios to direct drivers.
- Traffic Control Setup: Deploying and removing cones, barriers, and signage as needed.
Qualifications:
- CSCS required.
- NPORS or Traffic Marshall ticket required.
- UK RTW required.
- Traffic Marshal experience
