Multi Trades - Fire Stoppers, Door Joiners, Labourers

Location: Stevenage SG1
Client: Stevenage Borough Council Buildings
Start Date: 6th April 2026
Duration: 20 Weeks

We are recruiting experienced operatives for a 20-week programme of passive fire protection and refurbishment works within council buildings in Stevenage (SG1).

Roles Required:

• 3 x Fire Stoppers

• 3 x Door Joiners

• 2 x Decorators

• 3 x Labourers

Scope of Works (Overview)

• Installation of fire stopping systems (batt & mastic, fire collars, penetration sealing, etc.)

• Fire door installations, upgrades, and remedial works

• Preparation and decorating

• Making good works

• General labouring and trade support

Requirements

• Relevant trade experience

• Valid CSCS card (essential)

• Experience working in occupied/public buildings preferred

• Reliable and able to commit to the full 20-week programme
