Renewables Technical Designer / Surveyor

We're growing fast - and we're looking for a driven, technically minded Renewables Technical Designer / Surveyor to join our expanding team in Southampton.

No design experience? No problem.

We provide full training. What we can't teach is enthusiasm, communication skills, and the hunger to build a career in renewable energy.

Job Opportunity

This is not a desk-only job. This is a dynamic hybrid role where you will:

Design solar PV and battery storage systems using PV_SOL, OpenSolar & SolarEdge Designer

Visit pre-sold customer sites to carry out detailed technical surveys

Measure roof areas, assess equipment locations and plan cable routes

Talk confidently with customers about their system design and benefits

Work closely with Sales and Operations to deliver a seamless customer journey

There are no cold calling and no hard sales - but you must be confident, warm, and comfortable speaking with customers.
