Remuneration: £50,000 - £55,000

The role of the Designer - Cladding & Facades will involve:

• Designer position, designing for a high quality range of cladding, façade and building envelope projects.
• Liaise with clients to interpret and refine their design vision into practical, technical cladding solutions
• Oversee the preparation of drawings, coordinate materials and production details, and ensure installation requirements are fully considered from the outset
• Liaising with the client to obtain and further information that is required
• Producing clear 2D & 3D drawings
• Attending site surveys as needed to support accurate design development and installation planning
• Liaise with procurement, project and workshop teams regarding any long lead time materials
• Managing projects ranging in value up-to £5m

The ideal applicant will be a Designer - Cladding & Facades with:

• Must have 5+ years of Design experience within the construction industry
• Must have experience within one or more of the following; Cladding, Facades, Roofing, Weatherproofing
• Understanding of Solidworks, AutoCAD or related design software.
• Excellent people management skills
• Full UK driving license
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Motivated, confident and articulate
• Ability to plan and organise deliverables
