Role Overview

As a Scaffolder, you will be responsible for the safe erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding structures in accordance with industry standards, site requirements, and company procedures. You will work as part of a team to ensure all scaffolding is installed safely, efficiently, and to the required specification.

Key Responsibilities

Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures safely and efficiently

Work in accordance with TG20, SG4, and relevant health & safety legislation

Interpret scaffold drawings and follow design specifications where provided

Carry out pre-use checks and ensure scaffolds are fit for purpose

Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times

Use fall-protection systems and follow safe systems of work

Communicate effectively with supervisors, site management, and colleagues

Assist with loading, unloading, and handling scaffold materials

Report defects, near misses, and safety concerns promptly

Represent the company professionally on site at all times

Requirements

Essential:

Valid CISRS card (Part 1 / Part 2 / Advanced as applicable)

Good understanding of scaffolding safety standards and best practice

Ability to work at height and carry out manual handling duties

Strong awareness of health & safety on construction sites

CSCS-affiliated CISRS card

Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

Advanced Scaffolder qualification

HGV licence

PASMA or other relevant access training

Experience on commercial or large-scale construction projects

Safety-conscious and detail-oriented

Ability to work under pressure and meet programme deadlines
