Handyman/Trainee Carpenter

Job Title: Handyman/Trainee Carpenter (Temp to Perm)

Location: Sevenoaks (TN15)
Pay Rate: £19 per/hour CIS
Hours: 7:00am 4:00pm (Paid 8 hours per day)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Our client is a specialist manufacturer of GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) and anti-slip access systems. They design and fabricate high-quality safety access solutions for a range of industries.

This is a beginner-level position ideal for a motivated individual eager to learn from experienced fitters and fabricators. You will be working strictly on the tools within the factory environment, assisting with and building anti-slip access systems and carrying out fiberglass work.

• Fabricating and assembling GRP and anti-slip access systems

• Carrying out fiberglass work

• Working alongside experienced fitters to learn and develop skills

• Operating tools and equipment within a factory setting

• Maintaining high standards of quality and safety

• Keen attitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to work in a hands-on factory environment

• Carpentry experience is desirable

• Any additional relevant tickets or certifications are beneficial
