We are seeking an experienced Building Standards Surveyor to support our team on a short-term basis. This role will focus on clearing a backlog of small works and assessing domestic planning applications, ensuring all submissions meet statutory building standards and compliance requirements.
What You'll Do

• Assess and process domestic planning and building warrant applications
• Review small scale works for compliance with relevant building regulations
• Liaise with applicants, agents, and internal teams to progress outstanding cases
• Provide clear, accurate technical advice and maintain high service standards

About You

• Proven experience in building standards, surveying, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Scottish Building Regulations
• Able to work efficiently and independently to manage a time sensitive workload
• Excellent communication and decision making skills
