Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a live residential housing development in the Lincoln area. This is a 2-month ongoing contract with the potential for extension for the right candidate.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring plots are delivered safely, on programme, and to NHBC standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Site Manager in running daily site operations

  • Supervise subcontractors and trades across multiple plots

  • Monitor progress against programme and maintain build quality

  • Carry out plot inspections and manage snagging lists

  • Ensure full compliance with NHBC standards and Building Regulations

  • Deliver toolbox talks and enforce site health & safety procedures

  • Coordinate materials, deliveries, and site logistics

  • Liaise with internal departments and external inspectors

Requirements

  • Proven experience on new build housing developments

  • SMSTS

  • Valid CSCS Card

  • First Aid at Work

Salary: Negotiable DOE
