Job Description

A well-established house builder based in Eastleigh is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join their team on a maternity cover contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual who thrives in a busy office environment and can confidently oversee day-to-day administrative operations within a fast-paced construction setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing daily office operations and ensuring smooth workflow

  • Supporting senior management and wider site and sales teams with administrative tasks

  • Coordinating meetings, diaries, and internal communications

  • Overseeing office supplies, facilities, and health & safety compliance

  • Acting as a key point of contact for staff, contractors, and external stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience in an Office Manager or senior administrative role

  • Experience within construction or house building (desirable)

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • A proactive, problem-solving approach

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems

This role requires someone who can quickly integrate into the team, maintain high standards, and provide consistent support during a key period.
