Job Description

We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing client that designs, builds, and delivers complex engineered building solutions for a range of commercial and infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Site Installation Manager to take ownership of on-site delivery, ensuring projects are installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This role will suit someone with a strong construction or site delivery background, who is comfortable coordinating multiple trades, working closely with factory-based teams, and acting as the senior site representative.

As Site Installation Manager, you will be responsible for managing all site-based activities from handover through to completion. You will ensure installations are delivered on programme, in line with design intent, and in full compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for site installation activities across assigned projects
  • Plan and manage site programmes, logistics, and sequencing of works
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site operatives to ensure smooth delivery
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and method statements
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance on site
  • Carry out site inspections, quality checks, and snag management
  • Act as the main point of contact for the client and other stakeholders on site
  • Work closely with design, production, and project management teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Report progress, risks, and costs to senior project stakeholders
  • Proven experience managing site installations or construction delivery
  • Background in construction, off-site manufacturing, or large-scale building installation environments
  • Strong understanding of site logistics, sequencing, and temporary works
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors
  • A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to problem-solve in live site environments

Qualifications & Knowledge

  • SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification
  • CSCS (relevant level)
  • Strong working knowledge of UK H&S regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
