Job Title: Groundworker - Social Housing Maintenance
Location: Brent / Wembley (North West London)
Pay Rate: 18.82 (PAYE - INCLUDING HOLIDAY) - 21.86 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Temp to Perm
Starting salary: 37K
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Start: Immediate
Overview:
Seeking experienced Groundworkers to carry out responsive repairs and planned maintenance on social housing properties. Roles involve a mix of hard and soft landscaping, groundwork repairs, and reinstatement across occupied and void homes.
Key Duties:
Excavation and reinstatement of footpaths, driveways, and patios
Concrete laying, slab and kerb setting
Drainage installation and repairs
Fencing and boundary works
Minor brickwork and paving
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and site procedures
Working independently across a defined area using PDA scheduling
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Groundworker or Civils Operative
Social housing or reactive maintenance experience desirable
Full UK driving licence (clean or minor points accepted)
Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards
Clear basic DBS or willingness to obtain one
