Senior Estimator Roofing (Refurbishment Focus)

Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £40,000 £50,000 + Pension

An established roofing contractor is looking for a Senior Estimator with detailed knowledge of pitched and flat roofing systems to support a growing refurbishment division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate tenders for pitched and flat roofing refurbishment works
• Complete take-offs and material schedules (tiles, slates, membranes, insulation, associated works)
• Review drawings and specifications in detail
• Conduct site surveys
• Negotiate supplier and manufacturer rates
• Follow up and convert tenders

Essential Criteria:

• 5+ years estimating within roofing
• Strong technical understanding of both pitched and flat roofing systems
• Experience pricing refurbishment works
• Commercially astute with strong supplier negotiation capability

Desirable:

• Solar estimating experience
• Framework/CIF funding knowledge
• Estimating software proficiency

This role requires sector-specific roofing experience general construction estimators will not be suitable.
