Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to oversee and coordinate groundworks operations on site from March 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site teams, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all groundworks activities on site

• Manage site operatives, subcontractors, plant, and materials

• Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme

• Maintain high standards of health & safety and ensure full compliance with regulations

• Conduct site briefings and toolbox talks

• Monitor progress and report regularly to senior management

Groundworks Scope May Include

• Foundations and footings

• Drainage installation

• Ducting and services

• Kerbing and paving

• Roads and hard landscaping

• Concrete works

• Deep and shallow excavations

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Groundworks Supervisor

• Strong knowledge of groundworks and civil engineering operations

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Full UK driving licence
