CSCS Site Wide / Welfare Operative

Job Description:
We are currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking Site Wide / Welfare Operative to join our construction logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and general upkeep across the construction site, ensuring welfare facilities and site areas are clean, safe, and fully operational at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining welfare facilities including canteens, toilets, offices, and drying rooms

• Ensuring all welfare areas are stocked with necessary supplies (toilet paper, soap, hand towels, etc.)

• Keeping site walkways, access routes, and common areas clean and free from hazards

• Removing waste and disposing of rubbish in designated areas

• Reporting any damages, maintenance issues, or health and safety concerns

• Ensuring compliance with site health and safety standards

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role on a construction site (preferred but not essential)

• Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites

• CSCS card (preferred)

• PPE (safety boots)

• Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
