Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Electrician based in Portsmouth or Plymouth and surrounding areas. The Electrician will be responsible for performing electrical installations, carrying out routine maintenance and repair tasks, and troubleshooting electrical issues in residential properties. Carrying out testing and EICR's. Day-to-day duties include diagnosing and resolving electrical problems, ensuring safety standards are upheld, and coordinating with other facilities management team members to maintain fully operational systems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Electricity and Electrical Work (Electrical NVQ (or equivalent), 18th Edition, Test and Inspect)
• Experience with Maintenance & Repair of electrical systems and components
• Strong Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical issues
• Understanding of Electrical Engineering principles and applications
• Familiarity with electrical safety codes and regulations
• Relevant certifications or licenses for electrical work
• Ability to work flexibly in a mobile, full-time capacity
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Undergoing a DBS check and Baseline Personnel Secuirty Standard clearance
