Red Sky Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a major civil engineering contractor delivering flood defence and heavy civils projects as part of long-term infrastructure frameworks.

Role Overview

This Quantity Surveyor position will support the commercial delivery of flood defence works under NEC contracts, ensuring cost control, contractual compliance and commercial performance across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• NEC contract administration including compensation events.

• Cost reporting and forecasting.

• Subcontract procurement and management.

• Risk and value management.

• Supporting final accounts and project close-out.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience within heavy civils or flood defence projects.

• Strong NEC contract knowledge (essential).

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.

• Commercially astute with strong analytical skills.
