Quantity Surveyor (Electrical Contractor)
York
£50,000 to £60,000 per annum plus package and generous bonus

TS Recruitment are actively working with a Electrical contractor based in York who are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join the team.
Benefits
- Basic salary circa £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
- Company car or car allowance
- Career progression to commercial manager
- 8.30 am to 5 pm working hours
- Bonus up to 15%
- 3% employee pension contributions
Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Commercially manage projects for a specialist Electrical Contractor
- Work includes commercial new build and commercial decarbonisation work such as solar panels
- Work closely with the Contracts Managers to ensure projects are completed are within budget
- Carry out monthly cost value reports
- Attend site meetings
- Complete final accounts
- Manage the contractual QS side identifying and resolving issues

- Long-term client base for renowned tier 1 main contractors
- Work on commercial new builds and commercial local authority refurb work
- Geographically cover a region from Leeds to York and the East coast
Knowledge/Experience:
- A proven history working as a Quantity Surveyor
- Electrical experience preferred but a subcontract background considered
- Preferably degree educated.
- Good IT and numerical skills.
- Full UK driving license
