Hours: 07:00 - 17:00 (45 hours per week)
Positions Available: 8
Pay Rate: 28.50 per hour (Umbrella / PAYE)
Reason for Vacancy: Additional project capacity
The Role:
We are currently recruiting 8 Skilled Operatives to support duct installation and below-ground infrastructure works on a major Battery Energy Storage (BESS) project in Monk Fryston.
This is a hands-on role combining plant operation with groundworks activity as part of the duct installation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of ducts and below-ground infrastructure
- Operating excavators or dumpers as required
- Assisting with trenching, backfilling and associated civils works
- Supporting site teams with general groundworks tasks
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site
Essential Requirements:
- CPCS Card (Excavator or Dumper - relevant category)
- Proven experience in duct installation / below-ground infrastructure
- Strong understanding of safe systems of work
Desirable:
- Experience working on large-scale electrical or energy installation sites
- Willingness to work both on and off plant as part of the installation process
