About the Client
- Our Client is a well-established passive fire protection specialist operating across London and the South East.
- They are part of a large group of fire safety companies with a combined turnover of 200M.
- The business delivers high-quality fire door, fire stopping, and compliance services across commercial and residential projects.
- Due to continued growth, they are expanding their surveying team in London.
- Conduct detailed fire door inspections in line with current fire safety regulations and industry standards.
- Survey fire door sets, identifying defects, compliance issues, and remedial requirements.
- Produce clear and accurate reports using digital reporting systems.
- Liaise with clients, site managers, and internal teams regarding findings and recommended works.
- Ensure all inspections meet BM TRADA / FIRAS and relevant third-party accreditation standards where applicable.
- Support project teams in planning remedial works following completed surveys.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety across all site visits.
- Proven experience as a Fire Door Surveyor or within passive fire protection.
- Strong knowledge of fire door regulations, compartmentation principles, and compliance standards.
- Experience using digital reporting tools and producing technical reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Relevant fire safety or inspection qualifications (desirable but not essential).
