Freelance Site Manager Required 8 Week Contract (Timber Frame Housing Project)

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the next stage of a 27-unit timber frame residential development. The timber frames have just been erected, and we require a strong, hands-on manager to take the project through the next 8 weeks of construction.

Salary : £(Apply online only) per day

Project Details:

• 27 Timber Frame Houses

• Timber frames recently installed

• 8-week contract (full availability required)

• Immediate start

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday

• 7:30am 5:00pm

• Responsible for opening and closing the site daily

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all site operations from timber frame stage onwards

• Coordinate subcontractors and trades

• Ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to specification

• Maintain high health & safety standards

• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks

• Monitor quality control and compliance

• Liaise with project managers, clients, and suppliers

• Keep accurate site records and reports

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing residential housing developments (timber frame experience preferred)

• Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

• CSCS Black Card (Manager level)

• First Aid at Work certification

• Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulations

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Ability to commit to the full 8-week programme
